WORLD TRAVELS LLC: SCRUM MASTER

Role Overview

World Travels LLC is seeking a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach a software development team. You will be the go-to person for applying Scrum and helping the team build self-organizing, highly productive sprint execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage each project’s scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members on Agile/Scrum practices and frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Serve as the point of contact for external communications (customers/stakeholders)
• Work with Product Owners to manage backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove impediments/obstacles
• Help teams implement process/product changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Guide teams toward higher Scrum maturity
• Foster an environment where team members own the product

Requirements

• Experience in a Scrum Master role
• Familiarity with software development
• Strong knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including:
  • Definition of Done
  • User stories
  • Automated testing
  • Backlog refinement
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Crystal, XP)
• Excellent communication and servant leadership
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field
