Workday Financials Analyst Consultant (Global Delivery Center)

Role overview

You will work as a Workday Financials Analyst Consultant within a global delivery center, bridging the gap between business and technical teams. The role focuses on configuring and supporting Workday Financials to meet client business requirements across transformation, implementation, and operational phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for Workday Financials projects across multiple client contracts
• Develop deep expertise in Workday Financials core functionality and future product direction
• Lead an account working directly with client teams to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budgeted hours
• Share Workday best practices and provide subject matter expertise
• Run client sessions to analyze requirements and solve complex business problems
• Manage communication with key client users
• Coordinate operations meetings/requests and maintain priorities and SLAs
• Mentor other consultants and actively share product knowledge to grow the practice

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (preferably CPA)
• Workday Financial Supplemental Certification is an advantage (e.g., Budget, Expense, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Customer to Cash)
• Proficiency in business processes including one or more of:
  • General Ledger, Budgeting, Cash Management, Grant Management
  • Chart of Accounts redesign
  • Procure-to-Pay, Purchase Order conversions
  • Expense Management, Fixed Asset Management
  • Order-to-Cash
• Strong consulting and presentation skills; able to manage client expectations
• Analytical mindset with effective use of analytics and reporting tools
• Advantage: experience with other ERP financials/procurement (e.g., Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)
