Role overview

Work student (m/f/x) for IT Support at ITONICS in Nürnberg. You help keep the internal IT environment stable, secure, and pleasant to use—so colleagues can work without waiting for tickets.

Your contribution (Daily doing)

• Act as first point of contact for IT questions and incidents; resolve issues you can directly.
• Set up laptops, devices, and software for new colleagues and hand them over.
• Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights (with team support).
• Help with monitoring of networks, servers, and systems to detect problems early.
• Support security basics such as patches, updates, backups, and access checks.
• Document processes, configurations, and recurring issues to keep team knowledge current.
• Bring ideas on where to automate, simplify, or use AI effectively.

What you bring (Requirements)

• You are an enrolled student in (business) informatics, IT, media informatics, or a comparable program.
• You have knowledge of Windows and/or macOS.
• You are curious about networks, servers, and cloud tools.
• You can explain technical topics without heavy jargon.
• You work structured, reliable, and precise, even with multiple concurrent requests.
• You communicate confidently in German and English (company language is English).

Nice to have (not required)

• Initial experience with Google Workspace, MDM tools, scripting, or ITIL basics.
