Role overview
Amplify is hiring a Web Project Manager (full remote) to lead enterprise web development initiatives. You’ll be the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while overseeing WordPress implementation and project health reporting.
Key missions
- Lead end-to-end project management for enterprise-level web development projects.
- Collaborate with marketing content strategists, marketing analytics specialists, UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to define requirements and technical specifications.
- Oversee implementation of the WordPress CMS, including optimization.
- Monitor project health via reporting on timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and ROI metrics (including dashboarding for sprint progress).
- Establish and manage quality assurance processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for status updates on development requests.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing marketing technology implementations (analytics platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation).
- 5+ years of project management experience in web development, including 3+ years in a senior role leading teams of 5+ developers/designers.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies, including:
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Web optimization
- API integrations
- Experience collaborating with design teams and tools, including Figma (plus familiarity with Miro and Adobe Creative Suite) and UX/UI design principles.
- Hands-on expertise with modern content management systems and WordPress implementation/optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in education technology or other mission-driven organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
- Familiarity with data analytics and conversion optimization.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP and DevOps practices.
- Background in digital/growth marketing initiatives.
Logistics
- Travel twice a year to the Brooklyn office for in-person meetings.
