About the role

Role Overview

Build user-friendly, fast, and visually strong web applications. As a Web JavaScript Engineer at Mediya, you’ll work in an Agile team with designers, back-end developers, and product owners to deliver great user experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop modern, responsive web applications using React and/or Angular
Write clean, well-documented, testable and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript
Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX designs as working interfaces
Optimize frontend performance, load times, and Core Web Vitals
Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into the frontend
Perform code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Identify and fix bugs and technical bottlenecks
Stay current with JavaScript developments and best practices
Help foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
3+ years experience as a JavaScript/Frontend Developer
Strong command of React and/or Angular plus modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Experience with RESTful API integrations
UI/UX sensibility and attention to detail
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methods
Performance optimization and accessibility (a11y) knowledge

Nice to Have

Experience with Node.js and/or MongoDB
Experience with Git/GitHub and team-based version control
