Web Frontend Engineer - E-commerce

Role Overview

United Parks & Resorts is hiring a Web Frontend Engineer (E-commerce) to build modern, fast, accessible, mobile-first web experiences using React and Sitecore CMS. You’ll create UI that is authorable and resilient to real-world content variation, backed by strong automated test coverage. Remote work is eligible.

Responsibilities

• Build React UI components integrated with Sitecore CMS (authorable, reusable, resilient)
• Implement mobile-first responsive UI with accessibility in mind (WCAG)
• Optimize for performance and stability using Core Web Vitals (LCP/CLS/INP)
• Integrate with APIs and handle loading/error/empty states cleanly
• Support controlled rollouts and A/B testing/experimentation in a performance-safe way (Optimizely is a plus)
• Own end-to-end quality through automated testing and appropriate code coverage
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

• 4+ years building production-grade web applications with React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS
• Advanced proficiency with unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cucumber, or comparable)
• Strong testing discipline, especially where code is deployed directly from development to production
• Demonstrated commitment to reliable code with comprehensive automated test coverage
• Experience building cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
