About the role

Role overview

United Parks & Resorts is hiring a Web Frontend Engineer (E-commerce) to build modern web experiences using React, with extensive integration with Sitecore CMS. You’ll deliver fast, accessible, mobile-first user interfaces that are authorable and resilient to real-world content variation, with strong automated test coverage.

Key responsibilities

Build React UI components integrated with Sitecore CMS (authorable, reusable, resilient)
Implement mobile-first responsive UI and ensure strong accessibility (WCAG-minded)
Optimize for performance and stability focusing on Core Web Vitals (LCP/CLS/INP)
Integrate with APIs, handling loading, error, and empty states
Support controlled rollouts and A/B testing / experimentation (with Optimizely as a plus)
Own end-to-end quality using automated testing and appropriate code coverage
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

3–6 years building production-grade web applications using React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS
Advanced proficiency with unit and integration testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cucumber, or comparable
Strong testing discipline in environments where code is deployed directly from development to production
Commitment to robust, reliable code and comprehensive automated test coverage
Experience building cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
