Web Engineer

Role overview

Join EvenUp as a Web Engineer to build, scale, and optimize the marketing website. You’ll partner with the Growth team and collaborate across marketing to deliver web experiences that directly impact pipeline and revenue.

Key missions

• Contribute to the daily development of EvenUp’s marketing website by building and maintaining scalable WordPress components, templates, and building blocks.
• Collaborate with design to implement a consistent, brand-aligned experience and contribute to a shared component library.
• Build and maintain a library of reusable patterns and components for growth initiatives.
• Work with third-party integrations and contribute to automated QA workflows.
• Use native AI development tools to accelerate development, reduce repetitive work, and improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable CMS-based front-end components (WordPress focus).
• Implement reusable UI patterns and ensure a consistent brand experience.
• Improve outcomes by connecting engineering work to page speed, SEO, and conversion rate.
• Collaborate with stakeholders using Jira and Figma.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web development, ideally on a marketing or growth website.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• AI-native workflow and familiarity with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
• Comfortable working in a CMS environment; WordPress experience is a plus.
• Portfolio of personal projects or marketing site work you can walk through.
• Comfort collaborating in Jira and Figma.

Nice to have

• Prior meaningful experience with WordPress and building reusable marketing components.
