Web Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

Web Developer position (telework available) on a high-priority contract with Red Arch Solutions. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web-based software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web-based applications
• Build intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for analysts to capture, organize, visualize, and share data
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design, performance, and usability requirements
• Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to deliver scalable and responsive web applications
• Integrate front-end components with existing systems and services
• Interface with REST-based APIs and backend services for data-driven capabilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure solutions meet 508 accessibility compliance standards
• Work through the full SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment) in an Agile environment

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• 8+ years of experience (or 12+ years if no qualifying bachelor’s degree)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent substitution as noted above)
• Experience with web application / front-end development using:
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience interfacing with REST-based APIs / web services
• Experience across the full SDLC
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Experience using Jira and Confluence (or similar tools)
• Experience ensuring 508 accessibility compliance

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience visualizing and sharing intelligence-community data through web interfaces
• Experience integrating new web components into existing applications and services
