Role Overview

Hands-on Senior Web Developer at a digital agency. This role includes clear progression toward leadership, such as mentoring, process ownership, and potential equity participation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize web and ecommerce applications
Build and enhance custom websites, CMS platforms, and integrations
Implement and manage REST APIs and third-party integrations
Collaborate with design and cross-functional teams on full-stack delivery
Troubleshoot, test, and debug applications to ensure performance and scalability
Support project delivery, workload planning, and production scheduling
Engage with clients regarding technical requirements as needed

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on web development experience
Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
Experience with MVC frameworks and REST APIs
Familiarity with platforms/frameworks such as WordPress, Magento, and Laravel
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (frontend fundamentals)
Experience with Git and Linux environments
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup

Nice to Have

Experience with modern JS frameworks: React, Vue, Angular
Exposure to AWS, Ruby on Rails, or .NET
Leadership and/or mentoring experience
