About the role

Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a Web Developer/Designer to help train and improve AI models. You’ll review AI-generated design work (interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences) and provide detailed feedback to improve the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.

Responsibilities

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
Help train models to better understand:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design
- Visual hierarchy, interaction, and user flow
Provide feedback that influences how AI tools support designers

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s preferred (in progress or completed)

Hiring Process / Project Access

Apply through the general core assessment
Complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
If approved, you’ll access general AI training projects and be invited to design-specific projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, presentations, creative deliverables)

Compensation & Work Setup

Remote (full-time or part-time); choose which projects to work on and work on your own schedule
Pay:
- General AI training: $20+/hr USD
- Design-focused projects: $40+/hr USD
- Bonuses for exceptional work
