Role overview

DataAnnotation is looking for a Web Developer/Designer to help train and improve AI models. You’ll evaluate and refine how AI systems understand, generate, and assess design work, focusing on interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.

What you’ll do

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Assess AI output quality for correctness and performance
Provide feedback to improve models’ understanding of:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design
Contribute to design-specific projects such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation (including presentations and creative deliverables)

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred (current/in-progress/completed) but not required

Pay & schedule

Independent contract (full-time or part-time REMOTE)
Choose which projects you work on and work on your own schedule
Rates: $20+/hr for general AI training; $40+/hr for design-focused projects, with bonuses for exceptional work
Payments via PayPal; only US-based applicants considered

Interview/qualification flow (as described)

Apply through the general core assessment
Complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
If approved, you’ll access both general and design-specific AI training projects
