Web Developer

Role Overview

AVIXA is hiring a Web Developer to build modern, high-performance websites and digital experiences. You’ll work with a product-focused Agile team delivering experiences powered by a headless CMS, taking ownership of features from concept through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Create reusable, responsive, and accessible UI components
• Integrate and manage content from a headless CMS (preferably Storyblok)
• Consume REST APIs to deliver dynamic experiences
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Content, QA, and external development partners
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Own features from planning through deployment, delivering high-quality outcomes
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives)
• Optimize for performance, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application quality
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Represent engineering in cross-functional discussions

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Strong experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Experience with a headless CMS
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience integrating REST APIs
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Storyblok
• Microsoft Azure
• C# and ASP.NET Core APIs
• Integrating Salesforce data into front-end experiences
• Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Authentication knowledge such as OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Analytics experience such as Amplitude or Google Analytics
• Knowledge of SEO, WCAG accessibility, and Core Web Vitals
