Web developer and Digital Project Manager

Role Overview

Web Developer and Digital Project Manager (6-month contract, remote). You will bridge business needs and technical execution by leading web and mobile app initiatives from concept through launch. This is a hands-on role combining digital project management with light front-end development/CMS updates when needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between internal marketing teams, franchise stakeholders, and external development agencies
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and project plans
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day communication across web and mobile projects
• Run sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and provide ongoing status updates (Agile/Scrum)
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and proactively keep initiatives on track

Quality, Performance & Optimization

• Ensure brand/UX/functionality consistency across digital platforms
• Perform QA testing and validate deliverables before launch
• Manage bug tracking, enhancements, and ongoing performance improvements
• Maintain documentation (workflows, timelines, technical specs)

Technical & Development Support

• Execute light front-end updates, CMS changes, and minor feature enhancements
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues independently
• Support QA fixes, bug resolution, and UI updates
• Collaborate with developers on technical solutions and implementations
• Maintain a working understanding of the codebase and system architecture

Cloud & DevOps Support

• Support Azure infrastructure (deployment, scaling, maintenance)
• Help implement security best practices and compliance measures
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements using Azure DevOps

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in digital project management, product coordination, or web/app environments
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Drupal, etc.)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic troubleshooting
• Experience managing external development teams/agencies
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and mobile app workflows
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Wrike)
• Exceptional organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

• Experience in franchise, multi-location, or healthcare environments
• Background in digital marketing or UX/UI collaboration
• QA/testing experience
• Familiarity with modern digital platforms and tools
