About the role

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Web Designer & Email Developer (Jr.) to support digital production for marketing campaigns. You’ll collaborate with creative and digital teams to design, build, QA, and deploy a variety of campaign assets, with an emphasis on end-to-end email HTML development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce digital assets including:
    • Landing pages, web graphics, social creative, and HTML5 banner ads
  • Update and maintain website pages in WordPress (content accuracy + responsiveness)
  • Code and style responsive layouts using HTML/CSS
  • Optimize images and assets for web and email performance (fast load times, quality)
  • Support QA, troubleshooting, and proofreading across live campaigns
  • Edit, build, and deploy email campaigns/templates using email platforms (e.g., MailChimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign)
  • Schedule email sends, set up automations, and monitor performance via analytics
  • Support list segmentation and CRM hygiene for better targeting
  • Apply basic design principles (visual hierarchy, brand consistency)
  • Resize/adapt creative content for different formats and platforms
  • Manage digital files (FTP, asset managers, and cloud storage)
  • Communicate project status, blockers, and timelines; iterate based on feedback

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in web production, digital design, email marketing, or related fields
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS (able to read/write/troubleshoot code)
  • Hands-on WordPress experience (page edits, content updates, theme/plugin work)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as:
    • MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or similar
  • Ability to edit/build/deploy email templates (HTML/CSS) and review performance reports
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Figma
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management
  • Clear written and verbal communication (for remote collaboration)

Nice to Haves

  • Experience optimizing performance and quality through QA on live digital campaigns
  • Comfort managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
