Web Designer / Developer, Jr.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Web Designer/Developer to build and support modern, high-performing websites for local and regional businesses. This role sits at the intersection of design and development, with opportunities to grow into AI-enhanced web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and edit WordPress websites using Oxygen, Elementor, or similar page builders
• Create responsive, mobile-first layouts for optimal UX
• Assist with website updates, content edits, and quality assurance testing
• Improve SEO by refining headings, structure, and page load speed
• Support implementation of AI tools such as chatbots and automation workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic website issues promptly
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with WordPress website development
• Proficiency with page builders such as Oxygen or Elementor
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong understanding of responsive/mobile-first design
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
• Excellent communication and reliability
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

Nice to Haves

• Interest in expanding skills into AI integrations (chatbots, automation workflows)
