About the role

Role overview

Join DataAnnotation as a Web Application Developer supporting the training of AI chatbots. You will create and evaluate coding challenges, measure chatbot progress, and improve the quality of AI model outputs by analyzing correctness and performance.

Responsibilities

Give AI chatbots coding challenges and evaluate their outputs
Assess AI model results for correctness and performance
Solve coding problems and explain how your solutions work
Identify and fix issues to help improve model quality

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
Able to solve coding problems in at least one language (JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, or Swift) and explain solutions clearly
Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress or completed acceptable)

Compensation & work setup

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Independent contract position
Choose which projects to work on and work on your own schedule
Paid hourly: $50–$100+ / hr, with bonuses for high-quality/high-volume work
Payment via PayPal; only US applicants are considered
