Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role Overview

You’ll work as a Vue.js / Nuxt Engineer (Contractor, Remote) on an hourly-paid basis. Your work will focus on reviewing AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code, evaluating solutions, and producing high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step technical explanations.

Note: There is no immediate project, but if you’re qualified you’ll be among the first contacted for relevant opportunities via an expert network.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code for:
  • correctness and reasoning quality
  • clarity, accessibility, security, and performance
  • adherence to the prompt
• Identify issues related to Vue reactivity, component composition, state management, SSR/SSG, routing/data fetching, hydration, caching, and bundle performance.
• Fact-check technical explanations and information.
• Write high-quality explanations and model solutions demonstrating best practices.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and quality of reasoning.
• Create prompts and reference answers for Vue/Nuxt topics to support AI training.
• Validate AI outputs for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js
  • 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework)
• Expert proficiency in modern Vue 3 (Composition API, reactivity, component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions).
• Strong Nuxt fundamentals (Nuxt 3 preferred): server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro, SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns.
• Solid web fundamentals: HTTP, rendering, and security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows.
• Performance mindset: bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, profiling.
• Testing/quality experience: Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress, linting, CI/CD.
• C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) and ability to follow detailed English guidelines.
• Proven experience with detailed code reviews and enforcing standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI training data, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content.
