Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contractor (hourly, remote) as a Vue.js / Nuxt Engineer working with AI-generated code and explanations. You’ll review Vue/Nuxt frontend architectures, validate technical correctness, and produce high-quality reference implementations and written reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and assess solutions for:
  • correctness
  • clarity and explanation quality
  • accessibility
  • security
  • performance and bundle optimization
  • adherence to the given prompt
• Identify issues across common frontend/SSR concerns, including:
  • Vue reactivity, component composition, and state management
  • SSR/SSG, routing/data fetching, hydration, caching, and bundle performance
• Fact-check and validate technical explanations and ensure reliability.
• Create model solutions that demonstrate best practices, including step-by-step reasoning for complex engineering problems.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Generate AI training content, including detailed prompts and high-quality reference answers across Vue/Nuxt topics.
• Optimize AI performance by evaluating and ranking responses to improve correctness, clarity, accessibility, and performance.
• Ensure model integrity by testing for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations.

Requirements

• 4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js; 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework experience).
• Expert proficiency in modern Vue 3 (Composition API, reactivity system, component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions).
• Strong Nuxt 3 fundamentals (server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro, SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns).
• Strong web fundamentals: HTTP, browser rendering, security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows.
• Performance mindset: bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, profiling.
• Testing/quality experience: Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress, linting, CI/CD.
• Proven experience with detailed code reviews and enforcing coding standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for writing clear technical explanations and following detailed English guidelines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI training/annotation or evaluating AI-generated technical content.

Additional Notes

• Fully remote hourly contractor role.
• There is no immediate project, but qualified candidates are contacted for upcoming work through an expert network.
