Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role overview

Contractor, remote and hourly paid. You will review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and technical explanations, then create high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning for complex engineering problems.

Note: There is no immediate project, but qualified candidates will be contacted as opportunities arise through the expert network.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt output for:
  • correctness and clarity
  • accessibility
  • security (basic safety)
  • performance and bundle efficiency
  • alignment with the prompt
• Audit frontend architecture and implementations, including:
  • Vue reactivity issues, component composition, and state management
  • SSR/SSG, routing/data fetching, hydration behavior
  • caching and bundle performance
• Fact-check and validate technical information.
• Write high-quality explanations and model solutions that reflect best practices.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Create AI training content, including detailed prompts and reference answers across Vue/Nuxt topics.
• Ensure model integrity by testing for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations in realistic scenarios.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years building production web apps with Vue.js, including 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework experience).
• Expert Vue 3 proficiency (Composition API, reactivity system, component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions).
• Strong Nuxt fundamentals (Nuxt 3 preferred): server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro, SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns.
• Solid web fundamentals: HTTP, browser rendering, security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows.
• Performance mindset: bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, profiling.
• Testing/quality experience: Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress, linting, CI/CD.
• Demonstrated experience with detailed code reviews and enforcing standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility.
• C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) and ability to follow detailed English guidelines and write clear technical explanations.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI training data, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content.
• Strong detail-oriented, systematic approach to evaluating reasoning and subtle UI issues.
