Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Remote hourly-paid Vue.js / Nuxt contractor role with an AI training content and code review focus. You will review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and explanations, produce reference implementations, and evaluate the quality of multiple AI responses.

Note: There is no immediate project, but qualified contractors will be among the first contacted for upcoming opportunities through the expert network.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and technical explanations for:
  • correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, performance, and prompt adherence
• Identify issues across Vue/Nuxt topics such as:
  • reactivity, component composition, state management
  • SSR/SSG, routing and data fetching
  • hydration, caching, and bundle performance
• Fact-check technical information and ensure reliability
• Create high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step explanations demonstrating best practices
• Test and validate for model integrity by checking for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations
• Write prompts and reference answers to support AI learning across Vue/Nuxt topics
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses, ranking them by correctness and reasoning quality

Requirements

• 4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js
• 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework experience)
• Expert proficiency in Vue 3 (preferred), including:
  • Composition API, reactivity system, component patterns, lifecycle
  • slots and transitions
• Strong Nuxt fundamentals (Nuxt 3 preferred):
  • server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro
  • SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns
• Strong web fundamentals:
  • HTTP, browser rendering, security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows
• Performance mindset:
  • bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization
  • Core Web Vitals and profiling
• Testing/quality experience:
  • Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress
  • linting and CI/CD
• Proven experience with detailed code reviews and enforcing coding standards (maintainability, correctness, accessibility)
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for writing clear technical explanations and following English guidelines

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI training/annotation or evaluating AI-generated technical content
