Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role overview

Remote hourly-paid Vue.js / Nuxt Engineer (Contractor) for reviewing AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and technical explanations. You will assess solutions for correctness and quality, produce reference implementations, and help create and evaluate AI training content.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate AI-generated frontend code across Vue/Nuxt topics
• Assess correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, performance, and prompt adherence
• Identify issues related to:
  • Vue reactivity and component composition
  • state management
  • SSR/SSG
  • routing and data fetching
  • hydration, caching, and bundle performance
• Fact-check technical information and ensure accuracy
• Create high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning for complex engineering problems
• Write and optimize AI training prompts and reference answers for Vue/Nuxt
• Test and verify AI reliability to catch inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses using reasoning quality and correctness

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• 4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js (including 2+ years with Nuxt or an equivalent SSR framework)
• Expert Vue 3 knowledge: Composition API, reactivity system, component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions
• Strong Nuxt 3 fundamentals: server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro, SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns
• Strong web fundamentals: HTTP, browser rendering, security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows
• Performance mindset: bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, profiling
• Testing/quality experience: Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress, linting, CI/CD
• C1 English proficiency (written and spoken) for technical explanations and following detailed guidelines
• Proven experience with detailed code reviews and enforcing standards (maintainability, correctness, accessibility)
• Highly detail-oriented and systematic approach to evaluating subtle UI/reasoning issues

Nice to have

• Experience with AI training data, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content
