About the role

Role Overview

Remote, hourly paid Vue.js / Nuxt Engineer (Contractor). You will review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and explanations, produce high-quality reference implementations, and provide step-by-step reasoning for complex engineering problems. This is an expert network role with no immediate project, but qualified candidates will be prioritized for upcoming opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI training content: Write detailed prompts across Vue/Nuxt topics and create high-quality reference answers.
Optimize AI performance: Evaluate and rank multiple AI responses for correctness, clarity, accessibility, and performance.
Ensure model integrity: Check AI outputs for inaccuracies and unsafe recommendations; validate reliability in real-world scenarios.
Code review & validation: Assess solutions for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, performance, and adherence to the prompt.

What You’ll Review / Improve

Vue reactivity, component composition, state management
SSR/SSG, routing/data fetching, hydration, caching
Bundle performance and web performance concerns
Technical explanations (fact-checking) and best-practice adherence

Requirements

4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js; 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework experience)
Expert-level Vue 3 knowledge: Composition API, reactivity system, component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions
Strong Nuxt 3 fundamentals: server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro, SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns
Solid web fundamentals: HTTP, browser rendering, security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows
Performance mindset: bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, profiling
Testing/quality experience: Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress, linting, CI/CD
Proven detailed code review ability; enforce maintainability, correctness, accessibility, and coding standards
Minimum C1 English proficiency for writing clear technical explanations and following English guidelines

Nice to Have

Experience with AI training data, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content
