Vue.js/Nuxt Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contractor (hourly, remote) Vue.js / Nuxt Engineer supporting AI training content.

You will review AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and explanations, assess quality against engineering standards, and produce high-quality reference implementations and detailed solutions for complex frontend problems. This is a fully remote role with no immediate project at the time of posting, but you may be among the first contacted when relevant work becomes available.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess AI-generated Vue/Nuxt code and technical explanations for:
  • correctness, clarity, accessibility
  • security, performance, and adherence to the prompt
• Identify frontend/architecture issues involving:
  • Vue reactivity, component composition, state management
  • SSR/SSG, routing and data fetching, hydration
  • caching and bundle performance
• Fact-check technical information and ensure reliability of responses.
• Write high-quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate best practices.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Create AI training prompts and reference answers across Vue/Nuxt topics.
• Validate model integrity by testing for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations.

Requirements

• 4+ years building production web applications with Vue.js, including 2+ years with Nuxt (or equivalent SSR framework experience)
• Expert proficiency in Vue 3 concepts (preferred):
  • Composition API, reactivity system
  • component patterns, lifecycle, slots, transitions
• Strong Nuxt fundamentals (preferred Nuxt 3):
  • server routes, middleware, composables, Nitro
  • SSR/SSG, caching, deployment patterns
• Strong web fundamentals:
  • HTTP, browser rendering
  • security basics (XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, OAuth flows
• Performance mindset:
  • bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization
  • Core Web Vitals, profiling
• Testing and quality experience:
  • Vitest/Jest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright/Cypress
  • linting and CI/CD
• C1 English (written and spoken) and ability to follow detailed English-language guidelines
• Proven detailed code review experience enforcing standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility
• Highly detail-oriented and systematic approach to evaluating subtle UI/reasoning issues

• Experience with AI training data, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content
