Role Overview

Expert JavaScript Developer with strong Vue.js expertise to build user-facing web applications and reusable UI components.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-facing applications using Vue.js
• Build modular, reusable components and libraries
• Optimize application performance
• Implement automated testing in development/maintenance workflows
• Coordinate with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to deliver integrated features
• Stay up-to-date with recent developments in the JavaScript/Vue ecosystem
• Propose upgrades to keep security and development practices modern
• Build responsive web page applications using Vue
• Ensure code is robust, secure, modular, and maintainable

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Vue.js
• Deep understanding of JavaScript and modern ES6+
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 and responsive design
• Proficiency with Git
• Browser compatibility experience
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Clean, modular, performant code practices
• Willingness to learn new methodologies/frameworks and stay aligned with industry best practices

Nice-to-haves / Additional Skills

• Familiarity with Vue ecosystem: Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router
• Good understanding of SCSS
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR)
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
• Automated testing with Jest
• Modern tools: Babel, Webpack
