VP, Head of People

Role Overview

Excel™ is seeking a strategic, hands-on VP, Head of People to lead the company’s people strategy, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and HR operations. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key leadership team member, you will align talent and culture initiatives with business objectives while building a scalable, high-performing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Develop and execute a people strategy supporting business objectives and long-term growth
  • Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness
  • Lead organizational change and transformation to improve performance, scalability, and employee experience
  • Use workforce analytics and business insights for data-informed decision-making

• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruiting and workforce planning to attract, hire, and retain high-performing talent
  • Build scalable recruiting, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership/talent development programs
  • Partner with business leaders to identify staffing needs, talent gaps, bench strength, and future hiring requirements
  • Strengthen employer branding and continuously improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and EVP using data

• Performance Management, Culture & Accountability

  • Lead performance management programs aligning individual, team, and company performance

• Proven ability to scale people programs in a high-growth environment
• Strong business acumen and operational HR excellence
