Role Overview

Contract Visual Designer (Remote, 10–40 hrs/week) at Crossing Hurdles.

Responsibilities

• Edit and transform provided documents to produce visually distinct, compliant designs.
• Redesign pitch decks and presentations, refreshing the look while preserving content integrity.
• Use PowerPoint and other design tools to improve the visual impact of slides and documents.
• Apply advanced graphic design techniques: reformat layouts, update color schemes, and follow branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with the customer team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Maintain professional, corporate-level visual standards and consistency across deliverables.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience designing and transforming pitch decks, presentations, or corporate documents for major firms.
• Strong attention to visual detail, layout, and consistency across multiple deliverables.
• Ability to make impactful visual changes without changing the underlying message/content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
