About the role
Role Overview
Virtual Assistant (Full-Time, Remote)
- Hours: 40 hours/week (must overlap US Central Time mornings / early afternoons)
- Pay: $2.35 USD/hour
- Start: Rolling / ASAP for the right candidate
- Location: Remote
Core Responsibilities
- Create and edit social media content and Instagram carousels in Canva (templates, resizing, exporting).
- Edit short reels with captions/text for social media using Capcut.
- Manage client email inboxes (triage, draft replies, label/organize, follow-ups).
- Organize and maintain Google Drive and Canva folders.
- Build and manage content calendars (Instagram, LinkedIn) and schedule posts.
- Support client communication via Slack and email; escalate issues and log tasks.
- Create SOPs/checklists and manage recurring workflows using Asana project cards.
- Perform basic copywriting (captions, newsletter snippets, headlines, subject lines).
- Assist with client onboarding (welcome kits, checklists, calendar invites).
- Light project management (tracking tasks, following up with subcontractors, updating owners).
- Conduct research & outreach (market research, prospecting, event logistics).
- Occasional light bookkeeping (invoices, expense logging) and familiarity with bookkeeping processes.
- Event support when required (planning docs, registration lists, venue coordination).
Must-Have Requirements
- Canva: confident creating multi-slide carousels and templates.
- Capcut: short video editing.
- Google Workspace: strong organization across Drive/Docs/Sheets/Calendar.
- GoHighlevel: experience or willingness to learn.
- Email management (Gmail): filters/labels and drafting professional replies.
- Asana or Trello: ability to create and maintain project boards and SOPs.
- Reliable laptop, stable internet (minimum 10 Mbps), and a quiet workspace for calls.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience supporting female entrepreneurs, coaches, or small creative businesses.
- Social scheduling tools: Meta Business Suite, Later, or Buffer.
- Basic graphic design sense (layout/typography/cropping).
- Basic bookkeeping experience (e.g., QuickBooks, Wave, or Excel bookkeeping).
- Experience writing/editing long-form captions/newsletter content.
- Creating pitch materials/promo decks/Canva slide decks.
- Familiarity with Google Sites or simple website updates.
Soft Skills
- Extremely reliable and punctual.
- Detail-oriented (checks work before sending).
- Proactive (brings solutions).
- Clear English communication (written + spoken).
- High integrity and professional representation of clients.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.
