Vice President of Product

Role overview

The VP of Product sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. Reporting to the CPO, you will translate product vision into reality by leading the product organization to deliver high-impact experiences across Stukent’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Product vision & strategy / roadmap ownership: Ensure the roadmap reflects the right priorities and that initiatives are vetted for customer value, business viability, and technical feasibility before moving forward.
• Contribute to multi-year product strategy: Partner with the CPO using market insight, customer understanding, and an execution-focused perspective (~80% execution / 20% vision).
• Portfolio health & trade-offs: Balance new feature development, platform quality work (technical debt/bugs), and strategic initiatives; make and communicate tough priority decisions.
• Stakeholder alignment: Serve as the connective tissue between the CPO, executive team, internal stakeholders, and customer feedback; synthesize competing inputs into a coherent priority plan.
• Business & customer responsiveness: Track strategic initiatives and ensure customer needs are surfaced, prioritized, and addressed in a timely and transparent way.

Product leadership

• Coach and develop Product Managers: Lead PMs across product domains, raise the bar on product craft through coaching/feedback, and help build independence and strong decision-making.
• Collaborative discovery: Ensure product, UX, and engineering collaborate early and often, with customers and stakeholders involved in the design process.
• Process & accountability: Ensure PMs consistently follow core product processes (e.g., communication, UX collaboration, discovery practices).
