Role Overview

Hourly, project-based contract role for a Vectorworks Expert supporting AI training initiatives. You’ll apply advanced Vectorworks knowledge to architectural/spatial design scenarios and help accurately represent professional CAD/BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced Vectorworks expertise to architectural and spatial design scenarios for AI training.
• Document best practices for:
  • File structuring
  • Class/layer management
  • Iterative design workflows
• Provide insights into project execution, design refinement, and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with AI development teams to translate CAD/BIM workflows accurately.
• Communicate design decisions and technical processes clearly (written and verbal).
• Test and validate AI-generated outputs, providing feedback aligned with industry standards.
• Promote clarity, organization, and innovation within Vectorworks-based projects.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on Vectorworks experience in architectural, spatial, or design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM workflows, including cross-platform integration.
• Expertise in file structuring, class/layer management, and iterative design development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences.
• Experience documenting complex processes for technical stakeholders.
