About the role

Role Overview

UX (User Experience) Designer (Temporary, Remote – United States) working on scalable, high-quality digital experiences for business customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for web platforms (from wireframes through high-fidelity, production-ready designs)
  • Create clean, visually compelling layouts with strong hierarchy, composition, and usability
  • Produce developer-ready design files, specifications, and assets with precision and consistency
  • Apply UX best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and fellow designers
  • Contribute to and work within established design systems
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders
  • Incorporate insights from user research, usability testing, and A/B testing into iterative improvements

Requirements

  • Experience with design systems and component-based design
  • Strong record producing web-ready, developer-friendly UX assets
  • Proven UX foundation in interaction design and usability standards
  • Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance user needs with business and technical requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with motion design/animation/video and tools like After Effects
  • Familiarity with usability testing, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies
  • Strong content/UX copy skills
  • Experience writing prompts for AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, Claude)

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
