UX/UI Designer - Remote

Role Overview

Sundayy is looking for a UX/UI Designer (Remote) to create intuitive, user-centered experiences. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with high autonomy, proactively identifying problems and experimenting to improve the product.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify design problems and opportunities (not just execute tasks)
• Stay curious about emerging AI tools and their impact on design workflows
• Experiment, learn publicly, and iterate rapidly to refine UX/UI
• Take full responsibility for design outcomes, quality, and user satisfaction
• Create and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups for multiple devices and interfaces
• Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate ideation, prototyping, documentation, and iteration
• Explore and evaluate new tools and workflows to improve UX/UI efficiency and quality
• Conduct ongoing user research, including playtesting, feedback collection, and usability testing
• Build a deep understanding of the Lore app through daily use to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to deliver cohesive user experiences

Qualifications

• Degree in UX/UI, interaction design, graphic design, or related field
• 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience (preferably agile/iterative environments)
• Figma proficiency with 2+ years hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and standards (e.g., Google Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines)
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and A/B testing
• Strong visual design skills: typography, color theory, layout
• Interest or experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to iterate quickly based on user feedback and data
• Preferred: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
