About the role

Role Overview

UX/UI Designer (Remote) at Cella. This is an ongoing 1-year contract (100% remote), full-time (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST). You’ll design modern, responsive experiences across web, mobile, and marketing channels.

Responsibilities

End-to-End UX/UI Design: Create intuitive, user-friendly experiences for websites, mobile apps, social assets, web/display banners, and email campaigns.
Responsive Layout Design: Produce clean, modern layouts that adapt across screen sizes and devices.
Problem-Solving & Strategy: Use strong UX principles to turn complex challenges into seamless user journeys.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional agency teams and communicate design rationale clearly.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with evolving design patterns, tools, and modern UX/UI best practices.

Requirements

Agency background: 2+ years working in an advertising/creative agency environment.
Tools: Advanced daily proficiency in Figma (primary) and Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
UX/UI expertise: Strong understanding of responsive design, design systems, and platform-specific UX/UI best practices.
Execution & communication: High attention to detail, strong time management, and clear visual/verbal communication.

Nice-to-Haves

Modern/minimal portfolio leaning clean and contemporary.
Experience creating interactive clickable prototypes in Figma.
Experience with pharmaceutical or healthcare brands/accounts.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS limitations.
Experience with motion graphics or dynamic animation.
