About the role

Role overview

Entry-Level UX/UI Designer (remote) at Hiredbuddy. You’ll help train AI models to “think like a designer” by evaluating AI-generated design outputs, creating and refining design-focused prompts, and producing high-quality training/ground-truth annotation data.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI-generated UI mockups and provide constructive feedback on:
- layout, visual hierarchy, color usage, typography, and overall usability
Annotate UI elements (e.g., buttons, forms, navigation menus, icons) to create ground-truth data for model training
Rank multiple design variations based on UX best practices and aesthetic appeal
Craft detailed prompts that guide AI to generate better design solutions
Review AI-generated front-end code to ensure it matches design specifications
Identify edge cases and potential usability issues; document findings
Collaborate to refine annotation guidelines and improve data quality

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in UX/UI (or related field)
Foundational knowledge of UX/UI principles (wireframing, prototyping, user-centered design)
Basic proficiency with design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD (or similar)
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently, manage a remote schedule, and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn new tools and processes

Nice to have

Experience with AI technology
Knowledge of accessibility standards in design
