About the role
Role overview
Stellantis is seeking a UX/UI Visual Designer to shape the visual identity and user experience of in-vehicle interfaces across multiple brands. You will help ensure vehicle UI/UX is intuitive, visually appealing, accessible, and aligned with each brand’s unique personality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually compelling, user-friendly digital interfaces for in-vehicle systems across multiple brands.
- Collaborate with product planning, engineering, branding, and external partners to create cohesive, brand-specific experiences.
- Turn complex data into clear, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing visual formats.
- Participate in user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to refine designs and improve satisfaction.
- Maintain consistency in design language and style across digital touchpoints.
- Stay current on automotive UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.
- Create prototypes, wireframes, and mockups to communicate concepts to stakeholders.
- Work with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration into vehicle systems.
Requirements
- Strong background in UX/UI design with demonstrated experience in automotive or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design, accessibility standards, and emerging automotive interface trends.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to haves
- Experience designing driver-focused interfaces and familiarity with in-vehicle interaction patterns and constraints.
