About the role
Role Overview
Remote UX/UI Designer assignment with a well-known education client for 4+ months. Must be able to work in the Eastern time zone.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior designers and product owners.
- Define development requirements and provide design input to guide technology/implementation decisions.
- Translate user needs and business goals into clear design solutions for internal users.
- Apply and grow institutional knowledge of existing systems, tools, and processes to support consistency and scalability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on Figma experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and building:
- User flows
- Wireframes
- Concepts
- Interactive prototypes
- Familiar with accessibility guidelines and designing for optimal accessibility.
- Ability to showcase process and cross-functional collaboration across the Product Development Lifecycle.
Preferred
- Human-Centered Design experience.
Portfolio Requirements
- Demonstrates design work for mobile and web solutions.
- Shows process and collaboration across functions within the Product Development Lifecycle.
