UX Researcher (Mixed Methods, Senior)

Location: Remote (US) Duration: 6 months Compensation: $60–75/hr

Role Overview

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a senior Mixed Methods UX Researcher with a strong quantitative orientation to support a product-focused research team. While day-to-day work is largely qualitative, you’ll also design and interpret research using quantitative thinking and measurement design.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative research such as in-depth interviews and cognitive interviewing (including for survey design and measurement)
• Design and execute mixed methods studies to inform product and business decisions
• Synthesize qualitative insights and connect findings to measurable outcomes
• Apply strong quantitative thinking to research design, analysis, and interpretation (including statistical concepts)
• Partner cross-functionally with research, product, and other stakeholders
• Proactively identify research needs, risks, dependencies, and downstream implications
• Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and actionable insights to stakeholders
• Independently manage research priorities and drive projects forward

Requirements

• Strong mixed methods experience with deep qualitative expertise
• Solid quantitative reasoning and statistical foundation (including regression-type modeling)
• Experience with measurement design, survey research, and/or cognitive interviewing
• Ability to translate qualitative findings into measurable product/business outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently across cross-functional teams
• Meaningful research experience in a software/technology/product environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ~10+ years of relevant research experience (flexible based on education and depth)
• PhD or similar advanced degree with meaningful applied industry experience
• Experience researching complex software/digital products
• Experience within large, cross-functional product organizations
