About the role
Role: UX Researcher II (User Experience)
Join Anaconda’s User Experience team to turn real user insights into product decisions. You’ll plan and execute evaluative research, synthesize usability findings, and help build a clearer picture of user needs within a specific product area.
What you’ll do
- Plan and execute evaluative research studies (e.g., usability tests, surveys, interviews), selecting suitable methods with light oversight.
- Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights that directly inform product decisions, design iteration, and roadmap trade-offs.
- Partner with designers and product managers to define research questions and frame study goals; ensure findings reach the right stakeholders at the right time.
- Define user segments and recruitment criteria so studies reflect the people the team builds for.
- Deliver research readouts and documentation that are clear, accessible, and reusable across cross-functional teams.
- Improve research operations at scale by contributing to research libraries, documentation templates, and process improvements.
- Build proficiency with research tools such as Great Question and User Interviews for efficient execution and synthesis.

What you need
- 1–3 years of applied UX research experience in a product organization.
- Hands-on experience conducting evaluative studies (usability tests, surveys, interviews).
- Ability to synthesize findings into documentation tied to product decisions.
- Experience collaborating with designers and product managers to frame research goals and inform design/roadmap work.
- Ability to select and apply appropriate research methods with limited oversight.
- Experience developing UX artifacts such as personas, user journeys, and mental models.
- Portfolio/work samples showing research execution, synthesis, and product outcome connections.
- Bachelor’s degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience working effectively in a fully remote environment.
