UX Researcher - Digital Experience (Business Banking)

Role Overview

UX Researcher for Digital Experience (Business Banking) at U.S. Bank. You will lead end-to-end UX research that uncovers meaningful insights and turns them into measurable product and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end UX research aligned to business objectives, delivering measurable outcomes
• Design and conduct studies using appropriate research methodologies (balancing rigor and practicality)
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that influence product/design/business decisions
• Create high-quality research artifacts and present findings accessibly to diverse audiences
• Partner closely with UX designers, product managers, business line clients, marketing, analytics, and other teams
• Define measurable research objectives and evaluate success against outcomes to demonstrate impact
• Uphold research excellence across quality, facilitation, storytelling, and insight synthesis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in UX/design research, psychology, social science) or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of UX design research experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Background in the financial institution industry
• Experience working with UX for large commercial/corporate clients
• Familiarity with multiple research methodologies and knowing when to use them and manage tradeoffs
• Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Work Location / Schedule

Hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of 3+ days per week in/near Minneapolis, MN.
