About the role
UX Researcher (AI Design Evaluation)
Help train AI models to better understand, generate, and evaluate design work—especially interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.
What you’ll do
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
- Contribute to training models on aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Provide detailed feedback that improves the model’s sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality
How projects work
- Designers first apply through a general core assessment, then complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
- After approval, you may work on both general AI training projects and design-specific projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, presentations, and creative deliverables)
Qualifications
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress or completed)
Compensation & logistics
- Remote (full-time or part-time)
- Choose which projects you want; you can work on your own schedule
- Pay starts at:
- General AI training: $20+ USD/hour
- Design-focused projects: $40+ USD/hour
- Bonuses for exceptional work
- Independent contract position; payment via PayPal
