About the role
Role Overview
UX Researcher (independent contract) helping to train and improve AI models. You will review and critique AI-generated UI/UX design outputs to improve the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.
What You’ll Do
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, layouts, and visuals
- Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
- Provide detailed feedback to help models improve on:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design
- Visual hierarchy, interaction, and user flow
- Contribute to design-focused projects such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation (e.g., presentations and creative deliverables)
How to Apply / Project Access
- Apply via the general core assessment
- Complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
- Once approved, access general AI training projects and design-specific projects
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress or completed)
Compensation & Work Model
- Remote; full-time or part-time
- Choose which projects you want to work on and work on your own schedule
- Pay:
- General AI training: $20+ USD/hr
- Design-focused projects: $40+ USD/hr with bonuses for exceptional work
- Payment via PayPal
