About the role

Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a UX Researcher to help train and improve AI models by evaluating and refining design-related outputs. You’ll review AI-generated interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences, and provide detailed feedback to improve aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.

Responsibilities

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
Contribute to design-specific projects once qualified (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation)

Qualification / Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flows
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress or completed)

Additional Notes

Remote: full-time or part-time; choose projects and work on your own schedule
United States only
Payment via PayPal; independent contract position

Compensation

General AI training projects: $20+/hr
Design-focused projects: $40+/hr
Bonuses for exceptional work
