About the role
Role Overview
Work with a client’s Healthcare Business organization to research and design best-in-class digital experiences across channels and platforms (web and mobile web). You will plan and execute usability and user research studies, translate findings into actionable insights, and influence product roadmap and design decisions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a top-level digital UX Research specialist, providing expert guidance, insights, and recommendations.
- Lead and facilitate intake conversations with stakeholders to determine the best UX research methods.
- Plan, design, and administer usability studies across a range of websites and mobile apps.
- Oversee usability test preparation end-to-end (e.g., screening criteria and test script development).
- Use multiple research approaches to gather customer input, including:
- Remote unmoderated studies
- Remote moderated studies
- Other suitable methods
- Analyze and present findings with clear, actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate external research with vendors/partners and seek benchmarking opportunities.
- Consult with cross-functional teams and support collaboration/knowledge-sharing across UX and product.
- Partner with UX researchers, UX designers, and product owners to define and execute research within accelerated timelines and agile development cycles.
- Ensure an inclusion mindset and familiarity with digital accessibility best practices.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in usability and user experience research.
- Experience with online research tools, including UserZoom and UserTesting.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research experience.
- Experience conducting research such as:
- User needs assessments
- Tree tests
- Card sorting
- Clickstream analysis
- Usability testing
- Experience using AI tools to conduct or augment UX research.
- Experience presenting insights to stakeholders to drive product and design decisions.
Compensation
- $50–55/hr (DOE).
