UX Designer (CRM SaaS)

Role overview

As the UX Designer at WelcomeHome, you’ll shape how the team thinks about design and help build end-to-end experiences that are both beautiful and genuinely useful for people in senior living and home care. You’ll work across discovery through delivery, contributing to a maturing UX practice and an evolving design system.

Responsibilities

• Own UX design end-to-end: discovery → delivery, balancing goals, requirements, and technical constraints
• Translate complex user and business needs into clear, elegant interfaces
• Prototype at the right fidelity (from quick sketches to high-fidelity interactive flows) to learn fast
• Present and advocate for design solutions with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, and sometimes customers)
• Contribute to and evolve the design system and component-based design practice
• Help shape AI integration into UX/design workflows
• Lead decisions using the user’s perspective, advocating for users’ preferred paths

Collaboration

• Close partnership with Product Management and Engineering
• Occasionally partner with customers in discovery or usability sessions

Requirements

• 2–4 years of UX design experience with a portfolio showing strong visual software design
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped digital products and craft across visual design and prototyping
• Ability to own and deliver designs for complex workflows in SaaS/B2B products
• Strong user-centered design foundation and ability to translate it into usable interfaces
• Figma proficiency (component-based design, prototyping, and design system contributions)
• Experience working with Product Managers and Engineers in collaborative teams
• Comfortable occasionally engaging directly with customers
• Systems mindset: think in components and product strategy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated partnership with Engineering and understanding front-end development considerations
