Role Overview

UX Designer (Remote)

Transform frontier AI capabilities into intuitive, effective workflows for legal professionals. You’ll focus on reducing cognitive load, improving UX quality, and ensuring consistent design across the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Translate generative-AI capabilities into user-friendly legal workflows that reduce cognitive load
  • Rapidly prototype, user-test, refine, and ship design solutions with speed and quality
  • Own the full UX design process:
    • user research
    • information architecture
    • wireframing
    • high-fidelity design
    • quality assurance (QA)
  • Redesign onboarding, training materials, and the “prosumer” sales funnel to improve engagement and conversion
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and research to ensure cohesive implementation
  • Conduct and apply user research to drive actionable design improvements
  • Advocate for users and contribute to AI-driven workflow innovation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing SaaS or workflow products, with a relevant portfolio
  • Strong portfolio/proof of shipping data-dense or professional-grade tools with measurable impact (conversion, NPS, retention, etc.)
  • Proficiency using AI tools for design, including prototyping with generative AI
  • Experience designing workflows involving generative AI
  • Expertise in Figma (auto-layout, variants, prototyping)
  • Basic understanding of front-end constraints (React components, CSS, accessibility)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ownership mindset and ability to identify risks early
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity with minimal process; able to deliver fast, iterative results

Nice to Have

  • LegalTech or strong understanding of legal workflows
  • User research capability
  • Motion design and/or front-end coding
  • Design degree
