UX Designer, Provider Experience

Role overview

As a UX Designer (Provider Experience) on Natera’s UX Design & Research team, you’ll partner with product and engineering to create strong experiences for medical providers across women’s health, oncology, and organ health.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship impactful product experiences
• Collaborate with product partners to explore new features while meeting business objectives
• Create workflows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs based on product requirements
• Produce sketches, illustrations, and storyboards to communicate experience concepts
• Conduct User Research to understand patient and provider experiences, identify friction points, and drive improvements
• Partner with engineering throughout the development lifecycle to ensure smooth, timely delivery
• Elevate the Design Practice by defining quantitative and qualitative design quality metrics
• Grow and contribute to the design system by creating new components
• Refine team processes to ensure the UX team is a reliable and predictable partner to stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years professional experience in UI/UX Design
• Portfolio with 2–3 projects you’re particularly proud of
• Experience contributing to and using Design Systems at scale
• Ability to design complex enterprise applications
• Strong passion for the craft and delivering refined design work
• Collaboration experience with Product Managers and Software Developers across the product lifecycle

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare or bio-tech
• Conducted User Research with sensitive populations
