UX Designer

Overview

UX Designer role in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA) with a remote pay range provided. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to solve UX problems and deliver user-centered designs across web and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and colleagues to understand UX problems and define solutions balancing business goals, user needs, and technical constraints
• Contribute across the UX design process:
  • Participate in research and assess the current state
  • Help identify use cases and requirements
  • Brainstorm solutions and develop designs with increasing fidelity
  • Support development teams
• Plan and execute concept testing and usability testing to inform design and align teams
• Develop and communicate standard UI patterns
• Create and present UX concepts such as:
  • Experience models, personas, user flows, site maps, storyboards, prototypes
• Maintain and apply visual and branding standards (fonts, colors, imagery, iconography)
• Prepare and present solutions to internal teams and key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a client-facing UX Designer or Information Architect role
• 1+ year experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests
• Bachelor’s degree in Design / HCI / related field, or equivalent real-world experience
• 1+ year experience with:
  • Design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)
  • Prototyping tools: InVision, Axure (or similar)
  • Collaboration tools: Abstract, SharePoint (or similar)
• Must reside in the US

Preferred Skills

• Portfolio/samples demonstrating responsive web and mobile design
• Understanding of UX best practices across UX, Information Architecture, Content Strategy, and UI Design
• Familiarity with deliverables such as research analysis, use cases/scenarios, flows, detailed designs, annotations, and design systems
• Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
• Experience with annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows in consumer applications
• Ability to iterate with developers, QA, and product managers based on user feedback and technical constraints
• Strong communication (written/verbal) and client presentation skills; can present to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong time management and self-direction

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay range for the remote role: $45–$61.25/hour (US locations; depends on location/experience/skills)
