About the role
UX Designer (Networking)
Design and specify holistic user experiences that improve how users interact with products and services, particularly across networking-related solutions.
Role overview
- Research, plan, and produce end-to-end experience concepts and specifications across multiple mediums (hardware, software, environments, etc.).
- Use user insights to shape design direction and improve existing designs.
- Contribute at an intermediate level by solving common UX problems within established frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and/or design parts of user experience solutions using established design principles and the company’s design strategy.
- Test and gather UX data per research plans; analyze, document, and report findings to design stakeholders.
- Develop and implement UX design plans, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal and external development partners on UX design and implementation.
- Participate on UX project teams to deliver holistic, high-quality UX for low to moderately complex initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of UX design experience.
- Understanding of UX design principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating research and data collection plans for UX testing and acceptance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and local language).
- Ability to communicate UX data and design proposals, negotiate options, and drive alignment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience across an ecosystem or strategic experience design (new or improved experience architecture/ecosystem).
