About the role

Role Overview

As a UX Designer (Networking) at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you will research, plan, and produce holistic user experience concepts and specifications. You’ll use user insights to shape design direction and improve existing experiences across multiple mediums (hardware, software, and environments).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design portions of UX solutions for products and service lines aligned with design principles, strategy, practices, and guidelines.
  • Test and gather UX data according to established research plans; analyze, document, and report results to design stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement parts of UX design plans, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners to support UX design and development.
  • Contribute as a member of a project team to create high-quality, end-to-end UX solutions for low-to-moderately complex projects.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of UX design experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Design, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or equivalent.
  • Experience applying design principles and theories.
  • Ability to create and implement research and data collection plans for UX testing and acceptance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (mastery in English and local language).
  • Ability to communicate UX findings, design proposals, and product specifications and negotiate options.

  • Experience supporting enhancements, new experience designs, and/or strategic experience design (experience architecture/ecosystem experiences).
