About the role

Role Overview

Intrinsic is seeking a UX Designer to help identify, prototype, and implement UX features that exceed customer expectations. This posting is for an upcoming contract opportunity, with employment contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development and business teams to draft, prototype, and realize design solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprints
Work with the Product Director, CTO, and Scrum Master to ensure the platform is delivered on time and meets client expectations
Act as a user advocate, translating user feedback into design features and solutions
Support team cohesiveness through leadership by example and delivery of high-quality product features
Design, build, and push a new product for an emerging market space
Improve UX for Intrinsic core capabilities such as modern software engineering, AI/ML-enabled solutions, enterprise cloud/offline environments, AR/VR/live simulation, and data analytics

Requirements (Minimum)

Bachelor’s degree in Design/HCI or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant experience on diverse software development teams
2+ years working in Agile delivery environments
Experience designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity front-end UX/UI
1+ year experience with web environments: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
1+ year experience with tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Miro

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and shipping products
Experience in DoD, large aerospace, or AI/ML industries
3+ years in production/operations on consumer digital products
3+ years of UX design experience
3+ years of project management experience within design/UX organizations
Interest and ability to learn new technologies as needed

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year
Benefits include 401(k) (+ matching), health/dental/vision, paid time off, and flexible schedule
